About My Study

To me, computer science is not just about data structures and algorithms - it is about communication in and as a team, being able to view from and think in different perspectives, making Co-Creation possible. 

In addition, it makes the essential combination of creativity and innovation with productivity and efficiency, making it the reason of starting my study of computer science - currently being in the seventh semester of General Informatics (AIN - SWE, B.Sc.) at the HFU.

At the beginning of the third semester in AIN, one has to choose between  three interesting specializations: Software Engineering, Networks and IT-Security or Technical Informatics (SER-10).

I chose Software Engineering - because to me, it was the one which can combine creativity and productivity in the most direct way, independent from the environment.

Furthermore, it can provide support in a vast range of various disciplines like logistics, medicine or automotive - at work or in private life, on a daily basis.

Software Engineering has already shown that it gives us the possibility to concentrate our skill and passion on demanding tasks 

- without distraction, leading the way to new innovations.
